In addition to writing fiction, Lynda Sappington authored a “how-to” book, “Sculpting 101: A Primer for the Self-taught Artist,” the second edition of which was released through Whimsy Hill Publishing in 2008. Creativity in communicating has long been a passion of Ms. Sappington, who was editor-in-chief and publisher of the former online magazine “ArtVoices.” She has also conducted interviews and written investigative reports for local newspapers as well as feature articles for national newsletters and magazines. Lynda Sappington lives on a farm in western Ohio with her husband, John, their three horses and three cats. In addition to writing, she is also a professional sculptor, producing fine art bronzes, mostly of horses, although she has a series planned of children and pets and hopes to do more figurative work, as well. Lynda welcomes your reviews, comments and questions about her novels on her Yahoo group, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/StarSonsReaders/. If you have questions about her sculpting book, you can contact her via the email link at the bottom of this page. |
